I had some water creep down the Schwintek bottom rail and a wet spot appeared at “A” due to a driving rain (well that was my best guess - it has not happened again).

Yes, it was after travel. It was at "A". I looked at the top of the slide and that bottom corner but didn't see any wetness, though that would be a logical source.
