The high prices are supposed to be the result of a shortage due to not getting any from Russia because of their invasion of Ukraine. That seems to make sense except that I don't actually see any shortage at the pumps like we did back in the 70's with line ups and closed stations. Methinks there is another massive lie afoot. Anyway, this is a case of the oil companies shooting themselves in the foot because I for one will be moving away from oil products as fast as I can and moving toward electric and hydrogen power. The planned new truck purchase this year would be idiotic on my part in light of fuel prices. My retirement plans are going to have to change and will not include rving or perhaps not even travel. We need to thank our respective federal governments(I'm Canadian) for all their support and direction. Yes, I'm ticked off!
