I would guess that you had some rain water from the haul go up into the underbelly. If it will run out, it very easily can find a path in during the towing process on wet roads. I would say if you take a look-see under the rig, you very possibly will discover some sag points on the edge of the underbelly material that can allow spray from the tires or the tv tires to find it's way in. A couple of additional screws in the underbelly material may be warranted. Worst case sounds like you could put a couple of drain holes at the low points to keep it from pooling. Just my rambling thoughts!
