Not to hijack your post, but i also am concerned about the height difference of using the adapter on my Curt Q20 going to the GM puck system. Seems like 4 inches in added height would be A LOT. I know i probably don't have that much adjustment.
If I remember right if you measure to the bottom of the bed and to the camper hitch (both from the ground) the difference should be close to the height of the hitch-- is that right?
Will be picking up the new truck Tuesday and trying to figure out what i need to make the changeover.
