I and friend had the same problem with 2005 - 3400 RL's. The hole in the floor under the shower drain did not line up with the drain pipe. Remove the P Trap under the shower. Remove the shower drain pipe. Use a keyhole saw to enlarge the hole in the plywood floor so it removes the pressure on the drain pipe. Re-install using plumbers putty around the drain. It fixed our shower leaks. The root cause is lack of quality control in the factory.
