Northlake is fine if they have any slots. We stayed there for a couple of months extended stay.
In my opinion - the nicest in DFW is The Vineyards in Grapevine. It looks like it would be out of your way - but it is only a couple of miles off the freeway (114) and it is easy to get to from I35 East or West. We stayed there for several months a few years back and loved it.
A stay at Northlake or The Vineyards would get you thru the DFW traffic mess ready to wake up and go.[/QUOT
