When I made plans for our 6 month trip in 2022 I included having a 90 gallon aux fuel tank built. Cost me $525 and another $115 for misc hardware and pump. With enough fuel to travel 800 miles I was able to cross high fuel price states like IL, IN and CA paying for the tank pretty fast. Pulling my Monty with a gas engine the tank helped on fuel costs over the 10k miles we traveled.
