I believe while I had it off I would run a 2x4 up there to support all the cabinet weight. Hard to believe that particle board is all that supports the cabinet. I am going to have to pull mine out and look over it again. Already had to make better supports in closets with 1x4's and 2x4's to hold rods, shelving etc. Also supported few cabinets shelfs better already.
