I have been using the pvc pipe dish mount for several years and it has worked great. I often put it in the bed of the truck and get reception. Several times I put it on the roof of the camper when low to the ground would not work. I have never had it blow around in the wind, although I am sure there are some winds that will move it. It is easy to store and set up.
