We are planning a trip to Arizona and Colorado for early summer, 2013. We want to spend several days enjoying the Grand Canyon. Can anyone recommend a good campground within about 20 - 30 miles of the canyon, preferrably the south rim? We are just beginning our plans and so far have not been impressed with what we see online. Surely there are more campgrounds than what I can find on the net. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
