The OE Continentals got so heat cycle hard that they lasted about 40K when even a camp road was slick driving. This repeats what a previous truck encountered The replacement Firestones went 35K and were sot. Next were Michelins and were Ford's optional next size that would still be on the truck except one went almost bald at about 45K for some unknown reason while the other three had 9-10/32nds. I now have Generals and hope they last as well as 3/4s of the Michelins. All sets of tires were rotated on a regular oil change basis
