Yep, some of the best memories where when things were much smaller and simpler! Also, those photos bring a double edge sword too. There is the joy of remembering, and then there is the sorrow it's all gone now.
Our funniest and most memorable events was with the kids (a bit younger than yours there) and each one brough a friend along, plus our dog, and all of us in a tent... and it rained and rained and rained... and rained some more. We had water over and under us. BUT we had so much fun! Well, at the time it didn't see so, but now ... 30 years later, it sure seemed like fun!
