Agreed, easier to keep the water hot than it is to heat cold water. Years ago when we first started into the energy conservation deal, we were living in a Mobile Home (real trailer trash). The furnace was Propane, so we tried to conserve by turning the thermostat down at night, but soon realized we were using more because the furnace would run so long in the morning to bring the temp back up. Just our experience
