My buddy with the SOB toy hauler who blew his tranny on a trip this summer had a rebuilt one installed. The repair facility told him not to hook up to his heavy fiver until he had 500 miles on that tranny. They didn't seem to care how he drove it the first 500 miles as long as he wasn't towing.
