I had a Mission tire (remember them? They are out of business now) that had a bulge similar to that, but the bubble was about in the middle of the sidewall, not near the rim like what's in that picture.
Since Mission was a Chinese tire brand (per the DOT tire code on the sidewall) and they are no longer in business, I just wonder if they changed their name to hide their identity. I use Maxxis now and treat my tires way better since I've learned so much from this forum. Of course, many in this forum will just say they tried to preach not using ST tires of any kind, but I'm liking my Maxxis just fine.
