I'm hurrying as fast as I can, I promise! Putting off the decision to sell the house wasn't a good one, given the state of the economy now. However, it is on the market and we are ready to go when and if it sells. My mom and dad traveled all over the world, but kept putting off a trip to the Panama Canal, a trip my father would especially have loved. You know what happened--within a month of deciding to finally go, he passed away unexpectedly. That was a major missed "one day" thing. But in my mind, it's the little thing we miss more when the opportunities are no longer there: watching bluebird eggs hatch, discussing the best decorations for mud pies with my grandkids, etc. I must say I don't miss too many small moments because I'm ready to drop anything I'm doing to spend time with family or friends.
Now, if we could only sell our home . . . (another prospect is coming on Wednesday, so there is hope).
