Mine is plugged in all winter (storage) right next to my shop, but I have all the breakers shut off except for the one feeding the converter charger... which is supposed to be a smart charger.
I have access to where that charger is plugged in and I have a timer in line that powers the charger for 3 hours at a time, twice a week. I guess I just want to keep the battery topped off and not risk over charging it.
I used to pull the battery and put it in a warmer environment, then started putting a Battery Minder on it in the camper, and after I did the smart charger upgrade I am using the above method.
