Smile New Member - IL 2017 Montana HC 362RD

Hello,

New member of this community. Bought into a "new to me" 2017 Montana High Country 362RD this past week. When I ever get around to pulling it, I will be using a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 (6.0L).

I look forward to reading and sharing information regarding the Montanas. I had my walk-through and orientation on the Montana and can't wait to get started, but can't get my "new to me" rig into my seasonal campsite yet due to several factors.

Weather (seems to keep snowing over and over)
Remnants of a 40-year-old Maple Tree that needs to come down
Soft Ground conditions
The old RV is still in the way.

Old RV (2014 Sandpiper 365SAQB) was crushed and totaled when a third of a 40-year-old Maple tree came down into the side and across the roof of the rig during an ice and wind storm that we had a month ago, here in northwestern IL. This limb caused extensive damage that resulted in a total loss. This event is what got me into the Montana after an exhausting search for the right floor plan and insurance payout.

Thanks for allowing me to join this community!
