Unattended for 6 months? Anything can happen during that time period: electric shorts, lightening strikes, low voltage, high voltage, even a fire. Disconnect everything, take batteries out, winterize, and lock it up. Slides in, windows shut, vents closed, remove ALL food and everything with liquid in it.. Leave no room for anything to happen while you are gone. You are not there to monitor it. Shut it down 100%.

And one other consideration.... what happens if YOU are not able to return to it .... say ... ever? A lot of things can (and do) happen in 6 months, and there's a lot of things that can happen to you too.
