I tow a 2006 3000 RK and my rear axel weight on my old 2000 ram 2500 was 5800 pounds. I was good on both axels but over the trucks gross wt 8800pounds. I had to replace the dodge due to an incident with some black ice last year. Now using a 2007 chevy with a 9200 GVW and while I have not run it over a scale I do belive I am within the trucks limits.
