I did not get the generator prep as I do not plan on doing much if any dry camping. I wanted to have as much room in both the basement storage lockers as possible, amazing how much stuff you put into these things. As you know I do not full time, but I do spend April-October using the coach at least 4 days a week down at the lake along with as many road trips out as I can get in a summer. There has only been 2 different times I wished I had a generator, both of them being an accident on the main highway knocking the power out of the campground for 2 days the first time and 3 the second. I wanted my tv to catch the ball game. =) If I ever decide to get a generator I am pretty sure I would go with a portable one that I could throw in the bed of the truck and only take when I would need it. Just my thoughts and experience.
