In rooting around in my system I ran across this page I'd saved. It has pictures and describes the wiring from the old thermostat to a Hunter thermostat. This is not for the remote thermostat but maybe it will help someone to figure out that wiring. I had to cut this one down to make it work on tinypic. It's very readable except some small print on the pictures. If anyone needs a better copy, I have it in email form and also in jpg form, both in better quality.
