We also use the Whirlpool whole house filter....
At present we are just using one in the line but will be adding at least one and possibly 2 before heading to Indiana this September.
AND like patodonn pointed out be sure to get the male and female garden hose adapters. The filter comes standard with 3/4 inch female pipe thread which will NOT connect to your freshwater hose.
