Just finished installing mine today. Pick up my 3950 yesterday. Removed the back panel in the basement, cut the power cord which had enough slack. Then ran wire for remote up the wall chase with the other wires going to the control center and mounted the remote in the control panel. I agree the hardest part is getting the wires bent in the box.
