While spending 10 days at the Grand Forks AFB FAMCAMP we called Roughrider CG at Minot to see about availability because it would be a holiday weekend when we arrived there. They told us they were fully booked but no one on the waiting list and we would be the first should there be a cancelation. We gave them our rig particulars. We could stay where we were until we found a place to stay further west. Two days later the folks at Roughrider called to inform us they had a cancelation. We gave them our credit card number and reserved the site for 10 days.
We were given a nice sized FHU site with an opening for our dish as we had requested. The sites are side by side parking but wide enough not to be a problem.
One of the things we really liked was the delivery of fire wood for the fire ring every day. The camp store was well stocked and there was a very clean washroom with a dryer for every washer.
