If it is just the cover that is cracked/broken, it is simple.
You have to take down the cover in bathroom. I think 4 screws in corners. Remove the screw in the crank handle then.
Then on the roof slide the cover sideways.
You have to raise the cover after removing the screw inside.
This is from memory from about 4 years ago or so.
