We have had the toppers on both our Montana's. WE normally are in areas with a lot of trees and debris collects on the top of the slides. We are surprised at the noise issue reported by many. The awnings will flap in a high wind but it has to be a pretty high wind we have never had them be noisy for any length of time or bothered us to the point were we thought they were a bad idea. The main awning does flap and bounce in a high wind and is noisy but it can be retracted. IMO the pro's way out weigh any cons fopr us.
