This is great to hear! I've thought about getting a pellet grill/smoker for the rig too.
I've looked at the ASMOKE AS300. On Amazon, it has better reviews than the Pit Boss. They spec out almost identically, except that it looks like the ASMOKE can handle taller things in the grill part, since the lid is a little bit taller.

It would be interesting to know how any of these tabletop models actually does smoking something? That's what I would be most interested in doing. Setting up something to smoke, and then going out on the boat all day, and coming back to smoked, whatever...
