My six point levelers stay down from Oct to Apr each year. Six seasons this way..I wipe a light coat of AW32 or motorcycle fork oil on the exposed portion of each leveler cylinder.
Lippert says spray with dry silicone lube. It has about zero retention properties so I use AW32 because that’s what is in my hyd reservoir.
Before I retract at start of each season I wipe them down and apply a light coat of AW32 ....
