Funny how this topic just showed up. We were in Castaways in Ocean City MD last week and had a VERY long sewer run. It was longer than the one at the fall rally. Good thing I carry all that fall rally hose. I had to back the trailer up around 10 feet before leaving to get a good drop to flush the tank. Furthermore, the pipe stuck out the ground about 4 inches. I mentioned that to them in the campground review. Site #60.
We found several CG's so far this year that had newer looking sewer drops that were PVC and sticking about 4 to 5 inches out of the ground. I am not sure why they insist on having them so high.
