When we were buying our 2004 Silverado it did not have the towing mirrors. Dealer said he could just get a set off another truck and put them on for me. Great dealership - Runde in East Dubuque - Tim Runde started putting the new mirrors on himself on a Saturday afternoon. Ran into problems because they had to be programmed so he called in a tech to do that. So, if you want the factory ones, it can be done - probably just a little pricier. But this way when I want them extended, I just hit a button.
