On my last RV (Keystone Laredo 5th wheel) I had painted slotted steel wheels that began to rust. I found out that this rusting could weaken the wheels considerably and not safe to use. My new Montana 336RLT also has steel wheels, and I am looking to swap them for aluminium wheels soon. The aluminium wheels of today are much more solid and durable than earlier ones and in my opinion, they not only look good, they are lighter than the steel wheels, and will not rust. Any good place to buy wheels in SC? We're leaving this cold behind (NNY) and heading where it's warmer right after X-Mas.
