I like many others almost never buy extended warranties. On a RV if you are going to be more than the average rv'er who uses their RV for more than a 30 days a year absolutely buy it. I paid around $1500 for my extended warranty 5 years ago and my RV is in the shop now for slide repair ($1400), gas leak, gas valve and waste valve replacement($375). ALL RVS break and if your not handy with tools these things will put you in the poorhouse. When it gets done I'm installing a complete new step assembly because this wasn't covered. Another $200 for the steps plus my labor.
