We have a foodsaver also but I haven't brought it with us camping just because we are pretty much weekenders. I do love it though, makes those trips to Sam's Club worthwise because you don't waste the food.
Keep your coffee in the freezer and it will extend the life for quite a long time.
Do you reuse your bags? I definitely do becasue they are so expensive.
