We had Smart Talk from Walmart. It uses Verizon towers. They advertise America’s largest most reliable network. We were in Dubois Wy. and needed to call a friend who lives in Dubois. We had 3 or 4 bars of service but couldn’t make a call with Smart Talk. Everybody with standard Verizon could call. Verizon in Dubois was using someone else’s towers but only for Verizon customers.
Just because a carrier uses Verizon’s it does not mean you have full Verizon service.
