Warranty Update

Well, the Montana is home with most of the repairs done - some parts are on order and they will fix them after we return. Now for the biggest problem of all and what the factory told the service guy at the dealer: The steps are lose and have fallen out while in transit, Bob Hanson told our dealer "have them use a bungie cord" - now isn't that just a lovely thought this beautiful coach going down the road with a bungie cord to keep what are suppose to be tight steps in place. My husband wasn't happy with that responds and neither was I considering I can pull them out with one finger! The next problem was the crooked shower door and outside wall not attached with enough adhesive - again Bob Hanson said "if it isn't broke than it doesn't need fixing". Quality control, grrrrrrr. I said so if it cracks they will fix it - "yes" but will do nothing now. The decals, refrigerator door, some face boards for the cabinets and weather stripping that won't stay on on the storage doors plus the electrical plug (most important) are on order - they gave us a new cord and fortunately that had not caused serious damage and now we can turn on everything in the coach and don't trip the circuit breaker, at least at the dealers lot. Now the big test, when we head out on Friday to go back east.......should hit Manassas about the 4th of July. Also they replaced the head on the antenna as it was bad - have a good picture now. Some of this is updates to prior posts.

Safe and happy travels.
