Iwayne,

I don't have air bags on my truck. It rides and holds the 3200 pound pin weight of my 3725 fine. I just wanted to make the connection softer between the truck and camper, thereby the BD3 should accomplish this task. Any motions between to two should be helped with this hitch. In my opinion, I don't think the air bags on your truck will work against the bd3 hitch. The air bags will help you level your truck and carry your load better. The BD3 will help against the forces transmitted from the trailer to the truck and from the truck to the trailer. But remember I am no expert here as I don't have air bags on my truck. Maybe someone that has them installed can chime in and answer your question better than I.

Jay
