I like the sensor locks on my Doran 360RV. They are a collar that slips onto the valve stem before you screw on the sensor. Once you screw on the sensor to the desired tightness, you slide the lock rings up into interlocking serrations of the sensor that mesh with the lock ring, then you tighten 3 set screws in the ring that clamp against the metal valve stem. I have tried to loosen one once set, and it did not budge. You would have to reef incredibly hard on one to unscrew it, let alone have it loosen up and fall off by itself. Maybe it could be an issue with rubber coated high pressure stems, but with the all metal ones it is pretty much a non-issue from my experience.

That said, being the AR kind of guy that I am (read: detail oriented), I do check them fairly often.

Don't want to be replacing $50 sensors, if I don't have to.
