I have a ViAir 12 volt compressor. It's not cheap, but it is very well made and does a good job of adding air to the tires. I carry it in the in-bed tool box and made a jumper cable to connect it to the truck battery. I plan to install a small tank in the future so I can use a train horn to alert certain drivers that they need to look for me as they merge into oncoming traffic at 40mph while talking on their cell phone.
