Bryan,

We live on the Kitsap Peninsula and would highly recommend that you take the Tacoma Narrows bride route on Hwy 16 west to Hwy 3 north to Hwy 104 and the Hood Canal floating bridge over to the Olympic Peninsula and Hwy 101 into Port Angles. I would not however recommend Hwy 101 between 104 and Shelton as it is a very beautiful drive but it is also a narrow two lane twisty road that has many accidents (especially this year). I also would not recommend the Washington State Ferries when towing. They will charge you an arm and a leg for a half hour to an hour boat ride. However, most are very nice rides if you have never been on a ferry or on the Puget Sound. I hope when your in Port Angles you will have time to see Hurricane Ridge, Port Townsend and Fort Warden (where the filmed the movie an Officer and a Gentleman), and can take a ferry over to Victory Canada.
