Dave, I have a 2007 3000RK. Most of the times that I have a trailer fault notice, it's coming from the right rear wheel. Check the magnet brake actuating arm that will wear into, or cut, the wiring . The short happens where the brake wire crosses the arm just short of the magnet. While the brake drum is off, check the wire under the wire clips. I've found really small nicks in the wires there too. Bill
