Its fairly simple. The batteries are direct replacements assuming you are using batteries like Battleborn with an integrated BMS. If you camp in below freezing weather recommend batteries with an integrated heater. You also need to adjust your converter and solar controller charge profiles to get full benefit of the new batteries.

The tech support at Battleborn might be a better place to go than Montana.
