Thinking outside the box here: Could you rig up something similar to the device you buy that attaches to your hose to fertilize with? A bottle with a suction tube that the water flow would draw from as it filled the tank. Seems like it would mix well too. I still have a manual fill cap, but have put thought to this topic.
