It is the gas supply side that is the problem. That is a pretty simple system. There are several manuals in the Files section that can help. I would guess less then a $100 in parts will cure the problem. Plus you don't have to deal with the removal challenge.

We had the same problem. It worked fine on electricity, but would not switch over to propane ever. Dealer diagnosed the problem as failure of the circuit board. It's been replaced and all seems well. The good news was, we had an extended warranty or the cost would have been prohibitive.
