Disclaimer, this is just my MHOP. Anybody who towes an RV at 80mph is crazy. I don't care what tires or wether they have upgrated to disk brakes.

When I first moved to Ca and had a real job I was a professional truck driver. I drove heavy duty professional equipment both 40 footers (no 53 footers then) and sets of doubles. I am here to tell you these RV rigs don't have the suspension or the brakes (both truck and trailers) to stop In a panic situation. What we need to remember if you run into something the next vehicle in line behind you is a 16,000 pound RV.

How sad would it be to get to the Pearly Gates and have to tell St Peater you were run over by your own Montana?

We are retired slow down and enjoy the trip. Just saying is all.
