rames14: you set the gain by pushing the lever to the right and turn the wheel on the side or top, can't remember which, to set the gain. You set the boost on the wheel on the right 1, 2 or 3. You test it by driving about 20 miles an hr. and pushing the lever to the rt. The 5'rs wheels shouldn't lock up. If they do back off the gain. I think that's how it works.
2002dura: I have mine set about 6.5 with boost at 2. Works ok with our rig running at just under the 14100 GVW.
