We have a different setup. Ours was a bit heavier and it worked great at 7.0. Originally I had it at 7.8 but when I had the brakes checked my dealer said I had it set too aggressively and had severely worn the magnets and had heat stress cracks in the linings (at about 15,000 to 20,000 miles). Backed it off to 7.0 and it braked just as well. We had the boost button set at 3 to give us more aggressive braking at initial application of the brakes. I'd guess you might want to bring yours up a bit if you don't think it's braking well enough. If you're happy with the 5.8 setting, leave it be.
