Actually they started changing the axles in December 2006. Our 3400RL manufactured January 2007 has a GVWR of 15,500 lbs. There is no change to the dry weight of the rig - just change to the carrying capacity as a result of the new 7,000 lb axles. The axles raised the gross weight rating.

I weighed our unit right off the lot and it came in at 11,760 lbs. Fully loaded we are at 13,900 lbs.
