Sharko, I never tried it but I would think it is ok. BTW, I recently purchased a bladder tank and pump to provide a fresh water fill for our rig. Not dry camping, but water at site is turned off in winter due to freezing. I can get water from the "comfort station" but don't want to move the rig every time I needed water. If you have access to water somewhere close like I do, this may be an option. I ordered the bladder tank on Amazon
