Well, like Richfaa says.....when your present frig fails it is time to do your homework before making the final decision on what to replace with. I don't know if you can look at any one brand appliance anymore and say they are higher quality. We had a original Norcold in our boat that took a beating for 14 years before it went out. Now I don't think the Norcold in our 2014 Montana will last the first year the way it is acting. I remember my Mom having a cheap frig in her house for 30 years with no issues. Anymore it seems like you are lucky to get 10 years out of some of these major appliances.
